The PNP troops, like the
truncheons they use to bash the people’s head are mere tools. As individuals, many
of them are as gentle as the guy next door. But they belong to a group
organized by the Police State of the Philippines to be instruments in the
repression of the people’s will. They are dressed, equipped and trained to bash the heads of the
critics and protesters against the fascist stand of the state. They do not
distinguish between creed, ideology, age or sex. Training and conditioning made them
mere machines or robots who could only follow unquestioningly the programming
ingrained in them, the order to charge, to assault whoever the targets of the
system that runs them.

They could trash heads and
bodies to pulp, even kill persons. But they can never kill or suppress the
people’s sense of justice, love for freedom and democracy and the will to
survive to continue struggling . They cannot stop the people’s conviction of
what is right and to fight for that right. The assault of the police is a premeditated crime planned in advance to inflict the maximum harm to people. And to add insult to the injury, they put the blame on their victims by announcing that it was the people who assulted them

Rudy del Rosario, a
70-something, Martial Law activist and member of organization of ex-detainees,
Selda, has personified the will of the people. Years of struggles failed to
tire him. Blooded head, still unbowed. Weary arms still raising his clenched
fist in defiance of the systems most powerful tool: the Police force.
Hail to the heroes of people’s
struggles against the fascist corporate state headed by tuta ng kano Pnoy
Aquino, product of the ruling class moneyed landlords of the Luisita fame, who,
by that time is delivering his SONA full of lies and distorted data figures to
mislead the people.
