Philippines is not claiming the West Philippine Sea and the islets that lies within the Philippine shelf. We are not claming it BECAUSE IT IS OURS!
Thus, the Rome Filipinos shouted at the commencement of mobilizations against China's incursions in West Philippine Sea. Yet again, like a refrain of the manifestations of Filipinos around the world eysterday, the Filipinos of Rome, Italy let the cry of every Filipino,
West Philippine sea and the islets that lie within our EEZ is ours and we urge China to desist from its military muscle flexing and join in a peaceful solution on a negotation table.
Protect what is ours! Respect the Philippine sovereignity on what is our terretory!
China, stop telling us what to do in our own terretory!
The manifestation proceeded with pageantry and folklore. Filipino sones werte sung and Filipino Dances are also featured.
Toward the end of the pageantry, the Filipinos solemnly sung the National Anthem, watched by many tourist that are present around the square. The People's aquare (Pzza. del Popolo) is a tourist spot.

POSITION STATEMENT
Bagong Alyansang Makabayan Rome Desk
condemns in the strongest words China’s intrusions in Panatag, and
Kaingin shoals which lies within the Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ)
in West Philippine Sea, and assert the
Philippine sovereignity over the said area respected. The incursions of the
Chinese military and fishing vessels
in the said areas are in direct violation of the United Nations Convention on
Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and the
sovereignity of the Philippines.
We also demand that China desist from
warlike manifestations in the said area and participate in seeking for a peaceful solution with the affected
nations, including the Philippines under the arbitrations of the United
Nations.
In likewise manner, we also protest the
expansion of United States’ expanded encroachement in Southeast Asia which
instead of being a deterrent for warlike demonstrations by China, only provoke
more unfavorable reactions from the latter causing more threat to the peace and
tranquility of the nations in the area, and also oppose America’s renewed
efforts to construct military bases in the Philippines in violation of the
country’s sovereignity.
DOWN WITH
CHINA’S BULLYING !
STOP USA
EXPANSIONISM !!!
