There is no wondering why US want to put their hands that
much on Edward Snowden. He has the power to expose more informations on how NSA
works. The American spyworldwide want to have all knowledge on everyone so they
can keep America on top of power against every other nation on the world, and
they want all this info all for themselves. Knowledge is power, indeed. And if
they posess it, they can use the knowledge to put every other country at their
mercy. Lack or absence of knowledge means exclusion from power and America want
it that way.
But Snowden divulged the truth to the public, and for people
with power lust syndrome want him dead. He know how the system works and
presumably, how to swith-off the system. Now, that would topple America from
their powerful position.
