FOR KATHLEEN: What is there to uncover the truth?
The family of the
deceased KathleenAnn Viray Ilagan has nothing at hand to arrive at the truth
till now in the face of silence from the PE Bahrain. Only conjectures. Surmises.
And unanswered questions. No solid facts.
The family of the deceased OFW believes that the rope or
chord that strangled OFW may be a key to the mystery. Where is it now. Reportedly,
Ms. Kathleen died by hanging herself with a rope or chord from the doorknob of
the shelter’s door.
The family declared that from the first day of learning of
their kin’s demise, they have asked the embassy in Bahrain to produce the rope
that was reportedly used by the deceased to hang herself as an evidence. It may
contain traces of Kathleen’s blood or skin clinging to the rope. But there was
no response.
The kins, also, wanted to know who the mysterious person who
called them to inform of Kathleen’s death. Why did he not identified
himself as part of formality.
And most of all, why the continued silence from the PE
Bahrain? The family, at least, has the right to know what circumstances surround
the death of their kin. Are they covering something sinister? The family is
waiting for the truth. And the truth is being kept from them by the PE Bahrain
with their inexplicable silence.
