1. September 19, 2013 - No Remittance Day, in protest against pork barrel, we will refrain from sending remittance money to the Philippines this day.
STARVE THE PIGS IN THE CONGRESS AND THE PORK BUSINESS!!!
We request OFWs to join the drive and not to send their remittances on this day as a protest against the pork barrel.
2. Forum with Ka Satur Ocampo on September 29, 2013 - Hon. Satur Ocampo, twice elected as Bayan Muna Congressman and Senatorial candidate on the 2010 elections, will be coming on the 29th of September to confer with the OFWs in Rome.
The Filipino community of Rome are invited to attend the Forum and learn about the present socio-economic situation as well as other national issues that affects the OFWs and their family.
3. FILIPINO FOOD FAIR on October 13, 2013 - A food Fair will be held exhibiting featured Filipino foods from different regions of the Philippines. Come, see and taste the Filipino delicacies.
