UMANGAT-Migrante fund drivedubbed "Lugawan sa Luneta" for the relief of the victims of super typhoon Yolanda began to roll on at Piazza Manila in Rome at 2pm, of 17 November 2013, and moved onwards later to Piazza Flaminio. It was opened with a prayer for typhoon stricken Visayas led by a Umangat member followed by solidarity remarks by some leaders of the Filipino community in Rome. The event was also high-lighted by serving of Aroskaldong manok to warm the heart and body of attenders.
It was attended by some members of Task Force OFW, Patriotic Order of the Supremo Andres Bonifacio, Alliance of Filipino Organizations in Italy and Catangcas Capampangan group.
