DOLE Sec. Rosalinda Baildoz

The Philippine government thru the Dept. of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is seeding lies all over the media. Recently, DOLE Sec. Rosalina Baldoz announced that there are lack of workers in the Philippines to fill up some vacancies that the president has consented in hiring foreign nationals to fill up the said vacancies.

Now, even with the ordinary citizen’s “lack” of informations, everyone could see that this is an outright lie! The Filipinos are forced to migrate (in millions, for godsake!) to foreign countries because of lack of jobs with salary enough to make a decent life for families. Even ‘doctoring’ the numbers, this government cannot cover up the lie. The Filipinos are getting poorer, and hungrier, for that matter and telling them that there are surplus jobs in the country that this admin will have to accept foreign applicants is a serious insult to the Filipino people and a proof that the president is such a fluent liar that he could believe his own lies.

The president is committing a political suicide which is unnecessary since he is already a walking dead politically due to his negligence on important matters like the rampant corruption, failure to create jobs, indecision of the question of national sovereignity, growing human rights violations, the litany is so long that it exceeds the beads.

But what really is behind this statement from the DOLE. What are they trying to prove with this lies?
Let us not forget that the state is tied to an afreement with the WTO-GATT that requires the Philippines to liberalize (or, rightly, deregulate) the Philippine labor market to allow them to access the cheap, well trained and skilled and salary hungry labor force of the Philippines insuring their supply of low paid labor, in some sector, and filling up the better position with foreigners would deprive the Filipinos of a better paying jobs to ensure that the foreign countries could have a vast supply of workers for their jobs in their allied countries US, Europe, Japan etc.) And the president being a great TUTA, is permitting this to happen!

Mr. President, if you are trying to make an ass of the Filipinos,  may you go to hell and fry there!
