In Italy, wind power systems are coupled with photovoltaic power plants, it can generate cheap renewable electrical power to meet the public needs.

Whatever reasons on whyfores of annual power fee hikes, it cannot explain away the fact that prices are increasing and the buying power of the consumers has not not increased for the past 20 years and has by now reached its extreme limits. The situation has arrived to a standstill. The consumers has arrived to a point where they cannot afford this commodity anymore and has to look for alternatives that will exclude the products of the power consortiums and corporations propelled by fossil fuels. And cheaper alternatives such as solar and wind power are available and in use now in many countries. It is high time to phase out the fossil fuelled power plants and to opt for affordable renewable power sources.

The solar power plant 'Gemasolar' situated near Seville in Spain uses unique innovations which makes it not only more efficient than other thermoelectric solar plants, but also able to continue producing electricity without sunlight. Because its central tower receiver and molten salt storage technology enables it to produce electricity for 15 hours without the sun (and even 24 hours in summer time), Gemasolar can continue to operate during the night or cloudy weather. This means, for the first time solar energy has become manageable, and capable of responding to large scale commercial demand.

In Italy, power suppliers have began using wind powered electric generators. Coupled with photovoltaic power plants, it can generate cheap electrical power to meet the public needs.

Both systems are efficient, renewable, clean and whatmore, liberated from the dictates of the profit oriented fossil fuel magnates. These new systems are hoped to replace the present costly systems.
