The Filipino
migrant workers in Rome, Italy condemn in the strongest terms the violent
demolition of the homes of urban poor in Sitio San Roque, North Triangle, Quezon
City.
Proper urban planning is needed, not violence against the poor citizens.
May we remind the Quezon City authorities thast the primary concern of a
democratic and just government must be the welfare of its constituents, not
violent actions against the people.
