Ka Satur
Ocampo spoke in depth about the issue of
PDAF witrh the OFWs of Rome, Italy. His speech was received warmly by the OFWs
who participated by Luz Meriam Jaramoilla of Comitato Immigrati in Italia/International Migrants Alliance, Democratic Lawyers of Italy, , Task Force OFW, Gran Madre di Dio Christian Community, the Hon. Consiglieri Aggiuntivi Salvador Sabia Romulo, Demetrio Ragudo Rafanan and Pia Gonzales, ex Cosiglier Aggiuntivo Irma Tobias and members of the filipino communities in Rome, with notable enthusiasm with their questions.
The forum was
opened by a prayer led by Rev. Fr. Aris Miranda and a moving patriotic song by
Jojo Villanueva. Ka Satur described the present situation on the issue of pork
barrel in the country that aroused the anger or the present OFWs who expressed
their feelings toward what is happening in the country. The series of questions
and remarks led to the question of one OFWs who is present in the fgorum: What
can we OFWs do to help end this tragedy?
Luz Meriam Jaramillo
of Comitato Immigrati in Italia and International Migrants Alliance also spoke
and expressed the solidarity of the international migtrants workers in Italy.
Ther forum
ended with more Patriotic songs led by Jojo Villanueva.
